Opening in 2021, this facility will become the second hub in the region. It will offer 24-hour advanced urgent care with clinical observation units and pharmacy. It will include an ambulatory surgery center, operating rooms, laboratory, and a full range of radiological services, including x-ray, CT, and MRI.

The new medical center will also highlight expanded digital technology proficiency. The implementation of technology will enhance the member experience. Streamlined check-in and same-day appointment scheduling will be offered. The hub will also offer telehealth visits and online prescription refills.

KPFF is providing structural engineering services for this new, five story multi-specialty medical office building. The 221,795 SF facility encompasses 15 acres.

KPFF has offered structural solutions in response to updates initiated by contractor, owner, and design team. Examples include providing timely developed designs to address updates during construction. This included a new facade scheme, large deck penetration, new equipment on elevated slab, and a SLD system attachment.

Our team was pro-active in engaging with both the architect and other consultants. We handled unforeseen conditions that required structural attention. One of which was resolving a conflict between the MEP and miscellaneous steel attachments by providing a design concept for the movable canopy.
