Job Description

Our Civil Engineering team in Boise is seeking full-time Civil Drafters and CAD Technicians to support our group. We are looking for team members that will be responsible for supporting multiple projects and teams by creating, managing, updating, and maintaining a variety of drawings, with an eye for presentation and attention to detail. Responsibilities:

  • Creation of project drawings and exhibit deliverables
  • Applying established company, jurisdiction, and/or project CAD standards
  • Maintain organization of project drawing files
  • Prepare and edit plans, profiles, sections and details from rough sketches, redline mark-ups, and verbal instruction from team members
  • Presentation and overall drawing appearance
  • Coordinating with engineers and team members
  • Plotting and scanning of drawings
  • Complete drawings and project responsibilities within anticipated timeline

Minimum Qualifications

  • 0 – 2 years’ experience or completion of a CAD technical education program
  • Proficiency in AutoCAD and/or Microstation
  • Basic knowledge of Civil 3D, InRoads, and/or OpenRoads a plus
