We would like to take the opportunity to express our appreciation for work accomplished to by the KPFF staff. The KPFF inherent knowledge of marine structures was key in defining the various design criteria and alternatives associated with the project. The overall management provided by Scott Kuebler was outstanding. Scott was instrumental in the success of this project with his management of staff, subconsultants and sound professional advice. The Pier 4 Phase 2 Reconfiguration was one of the largest single contracts issued by the Port of Tacoma. Not only was the project completed on time but was also more than $16 million below budget. The success of this project was truly a team effort including our Port staff and the design and management expertise provided by the KPFF staff. As we now see larger ships calling at Pier 4, offloaded with the recently delivered container cranes, we can appreciate our efforts in completing this historic project. Well done and congratulations.
