KPFF Special Projects Group is currently seeking exceptional individuals with 3-6 years of experience to apply for the position of Mechanical Engineer.Candidates who are attracted to our philosophy, team culture, and unique work environment are encouraged to submit their cover letter and resume for consideration.
Our ideal candidates would have:
- Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering, Masters degree preferred
- EIT is required.
- Familiarity with design of weldments.
- Familiarity with stress analysis, including finite element analysis
- Familiarity with design / specification of bearings, pins and other standard machinery components.
- Familiarity with kinematic and dynamic analysis of machinery.
- Familiarity with hydraulic power systems.
- Familiarity with electric motors, electronic drives, and controls.
- Familiarity with industrial process piping and pumps.
- Familiarity with Bulk Materials Handling and Storage
