Position Description
You will have the opportunity to work on a variety of project types, serving public and private clients in land development, transportation and municipal projects – you won’t be pigeon-holed or constrained within a strict, defined box. We’ll challenge you to stretch outside your comfort zone and you’ll be given opportunities for growth and increased responsibility. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to gain broad civil engineering skills and experience!
Qualifications
·2 years of experience (minimum)
·BSCE degree
·EIT (preferred)
·Broad civil background, including site development work
·AutoCAD Civil 3D proficiency
·Effective written and verbal communication skills and interested in direct client contact
·Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities
·Passionate about providing exceptional client service

This position is in our growingWashington, DC office, which is a satellite for our Portland Civil + Surveyoffice with 97 employees including 34 PE’s and 4 PLS’s. The PE’s in DC work on a wide variety of project types, serving public and private clients (including international embassy work). We believe in encouraging personal and professional growth, and we work hard at providing a solid structure with minimal organizational restrictions.
