Special Projects – Tacoma, WA
KPFF has recognized that there are specialized issues associated with development of some projects, which require unique management and technical skills. The KPFF Special Projects Division was established in 1996 to directly address these types of projects with a unique combination of focused dedication to successful delivery via specialized project managers, a highly qualified technical staff, and a predisposition to think and act innovatively. We provide civil, structural, and mechanical engineering, machinery design, construction management, project management, and planning services on a wide range of project types.
Our Tacoma Special Projects office was established in 2001 and is situated in Old Town Tacoma – located along Tacoma’s scenic waterfront overlooking Commencement Bay.

Established inThe Work We Do
Our work generally consists of the management and design of heavy civil, structural, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure throughout the US. We are frequently tasked with solving unusual, multi-discipline challenges that require an innovative and team-oriented approach. The Tacoma office is heavily engaged with local clients such as the Ports of Tacoma and Seattle, Tacoma Rail, City of Tacoma, Washington State Ferries, US Fish and Wildlife Service, Washington State Department of Fish and Wildlife, and various other municipalities.
Born and raised in western WA beside a short span spent in Pullman, where I attend school at WSU, GO COUGS! I love to enjoy all things the PNW brings like, dirt bike riding, fishing, and skiing. My favorite thing about mechanical engineering is the endless opportunities for learning and understanding how systems function.
