My name is Victor Morales. I am a Structural Intern at KPFF Orange County. I received my bachelor’s degree from UCLA and will begin the master’s program in September. Having grown up in the Irvine area, I was excited to begin my career in OC. With KPFF, I have been able to learn new skills that are not covered in school, and I look forward to being involved in even more projects! Outside of engineering, I love playing soccer, go-kart racing, and riding the scariest rollercoasters possible!
Greetings! My name is Chanelle and I’ve been at the KPFF OC office for over 9 months now. During that time, I have found a home in this company. Although I grew up around here, I have meandered my way across the country from Cali at UCSD to Pennsylvania in Carnegie Mellon University and many spots in between. One of my favorite hobbies is to travel. In fact, I am writing this currently from a flight to Seattle! I have so far visited 5 continents and hope to make it to all 7 shortly.
Hello, my name is Landon Lacayo. Coming from an art background, the shift to structural engineering at UCI was a disciplined process. Joining the KPFF team provided diversified experiences beyond a systematic routine. The opportunity to work with teammates that continuously push the envelope motivates me. Growing up in OC, I garner great pride seeing local projects from start to finish. From surfing and video editing to cycling from SF to LA, I value having a good work life balance.
It has been a year since I started working at KPFF OC and I have enjoyed every second! At KPFF, you are surrounded by great people who provide the help and support that every new engineer needs. Besides being a KPFF Structural Engineer, I am a First-Generation Mexican American & Cal Poly Pomona Alumni. I also enjoy the great outdoors, aggressively biking through busy city streets on my road bike, ice cold drinks, road trips, Lakers Basketball, and spending time with family & loved ones.
Whether enjoying the art galleries in Laguna Beach or Santa Ana, antique shopping in Old Town Orange, or watching whales at Dana Point, Orange County is a place full of entertainment. Orange County is also only 2 hours away from the San Bernardino Mountains for hiking, skiing, or snowboarding. Orange County also provides an amazing number of places to visit if your interests include visiting museums, numerous parks, playing golf, or attending plays, ballet, opera or symphony. Annual cultural events in the County include Tet Festival in Fountain Valley, Street Fair in Orange, Octoberfest in Anaheim and Boca de Oro Festival in Santa Ana.
Not only is this an exciting place to live, our projects take you all over California and the West Coast. KPFF helps make great spaces and places that last for generations.
