Jackson is an avid sports fan and enjoys playing basketball with the KPFF team as part of the DTLA YMCA rec league. He can often be found at the Rose Bowl or Pauley Pavilion cheering loudly for UCLA athletics. Jackson takes advantage of California’s perfect weather and enjoys hiking and wakeboarding.

Background

As an Associate with the Los Angeles Office of KPFF, Mr. English has over 8 years of professional experience as a structural engineer. His diverse experience includes higher education, retail, laboratories, with particular experience in complex healthcare and shoring projects. Mr. English enjoys the process of digging into the details during all phases of design through construction with the goal of becoming a subject matter expert on every project he works on. He combines his deep knowledge of engineering fundamentals with a practical sense for constructability to think outside the box and work collaboratively with all parties to reach the best solution. Mr. English is also a lecturer for the UCLA Civil and Environmental Engineering Department, teaching the undergraduate steel design course.
