Watershed is a cutting edge living-building pilot commercial office building. The development continues the restorative approach of its sibling, Data1, and voluntarily treats 400,000 gallons of Aurora Bridge runoff annually.

KPFF provided civil engineering for this new 61,000 SF commercial office building which picks up where Data1 left off, and treats approximately 400,000 gallons a year of polluted Aurora Bridge runoff. The project is a City of Seattle’s Living Building Pilot and includes a water re-use system that substantially utilizes rainwater falling on the site for building purposes.
