Sound Transit OMFE

KPFF provided civil and structural engineering on this $220 million, 26-acre, design-build project to clean and maintain light rail vehicles (LRV). The project included operations, office, maintenance, shop, and loading dock facilities. The project also includes trail connections and will incorporate transit-oriented development. The OMFE was constructed in in phases using a design build delivery method and had extensive utility relocation work. KPFF provided civil engineering design for the entire site, roadway frontage, future Transit Orientated Development plans, LRV maintenance and storage areas and structural engineering for the facility.
