Northgate Mall Redevelopment

KPFF is providing civil engineering for redevelopment of 40 acres of the Northgate Mall including hotel, residential, and housing developments, as well as the construction of new National Hockey League headquarters, public, and team ice rink facilities in North Seattle. This development is adjacent to the Northgate Transit Center, which is currently being expanded to include a new Link light rail station and is scheduled to be completed in 2021. The redevelopment includes substantial demolition of the existing retail center and construction of up to 1,200 new apartments, amenity and recreation space, and a new network of roads and utilities on an accelerated schedule.
