Moonlight Basin Ski Resort is a new six-star resort in Big Sky, MT comprising a total of 185,000 SF of commercial hospitality space and 375,000 SF of private branded residences.
The project includes a series of independent structures that include a main lodge with external pool, two guest lodges, a ski lodge, spa, signature restaurant, distillery, and 19 guest cabins, and 61 private branded residences. Corridors provide access between the guest lodges, the spa, and the main lodge. Large roof planes with exposed steel are specially detailed to prevent thermal bridging in extreme climate. Stone-clad walls, exposed concrete, and expansive glass create the exterior, perfectly framing the picturesque views.
