Merrill Creek Operations Base Building Expansion

KPFF is currently leading planning and design for a major expansion and retrofit of Community Transit’s Merrill Creek Operations and Maintenance Building. The $20M project includes 18,000sf of new building expansion for a body shop, break room and hoist bays as well as conversion of the existing body shop to full-service vehicle maintenance bays. Eight existing post style hoists in the existing shop will then be converted to modern scissor lift hoists. This project also includes installation of new stormwater flow detention systems, utility relocations and upgrade of existing yard/parking areas to reinforced concrete paving for coach parking. This project is currently in construction.
