Our Seattle Special Projects office was established in 1996 and is located in downtown Seattle in Westlake Center overlooking Elliot Bay.
Our work generally consists of the management and design of heavy civil, structural, industrial, and waterfront infrastructure throughout the US. We are frequently tasked with solving unusual, multi-discipline challenges that require an innovative and team-oriented approach, working with clients including the Ports of Seattle, Tacoma, Everett, WSDOT, Shipyards, Contractors and various municipalities.
With my Bachelors degree from California Polytechnic University Pomona in Urban, and Regional Planning and my Master's degree from California State University, Fullerton in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, I have over 15 years of Transportation Engineering experience. I have lived in Southern California most of my life, but I also lived in Baltimore, MD. I am a fan of football and I enjoy playing basketball, going on hikes, and cooking.
Ali, originally from Tehran, has multiple degrees (BS/MS/Ph.D.) in the field of Civil Structural/Earthquake Engineering from the Sharif University of Technology. He has worked in both the engineering industry and academia. Ali previously worked as a senior lecturer/researcher at KNTU and Technical University of Munich in the field of structural/earthquake engineering by publishing several books and papers. Ali spends his leisure time traveling, hiking, playing volleyball, and soccer.
I grew up in the Seattle area and later moved to N. Carolina where I obtained a Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering from North Carolina A&T -Aggie Pride! I am a married father of three and enjoy reading and staying active both inside and outside. I am excited to return to the Pacific Northwest from the East Coast as I miss Seattle's coffee. Being an engineer allows me to continuously learn and grow. I value being self-motivated, working in diverse teams, and having a clear sense of purpose.
I'm originally from Long Island, NY, but moved to WA in 2017 to pursue a career in education. I received my BA in English from Alfred University, and my Master's in Education from the University of Washington. After 4 years of teaching 6th grade math and science, I decided to dig into my new toolbox of skills and branch out into the corporate world. I am so excited to be working as a Project Coordinator with KPFF. In my free time I enjoy spending time with my Rottweiler Lexi, cooking and hiking.
