KPFF was prime consultant overseeing an integrated team designing the world’s longest cable ferry system. The project included the design of a new 50-car cable ferry as well as new landings at each end of the route. The KPFF team included structural, civil, electrical, mechanical, and geotechnical engineers, as well as naval architects. In the prime role, KPFF was responsible for ensuring the compatibility of all project elements, quality control, and project management.
