Building Cure is a 13-story research, office, and manufacturing facility for Seattle Children’s Research Institute. Located in Denny Triangle neighborhood of Seattle, it is one of the first nationally, devoted to individualized therapies for childhood cancer. SCRI’s mission is to cure childhood disease, and Building Cure’s modern architectural design reflects their ground-breaking research. The structure is designed to provide enhanced seismic performance, long-term planning flexibility, and exceptional vibration performance. The program includes 300,000 gsf of state of the art research laboratories and support, 60,000 gsf of GMP, 100,000 gsf of below grade comparative medicine; in addition to a Discovery Center, Forum, and open space at the street level, for the identity, communication and dissemination of life science research.
