Boeing MAX Final Assembly

KPFF provided full design services as prime consultant for the Boeing Design 737 Max Final Assembly project at the Renton site. This multi phased project includes several structural design components including; an intricate foundation for the SI Mega Tool founded on very soft soil using a combination deep pile foundations and conventional spread footings, numerous utility relocations, and relocation/modification of various plane component fabrication workstations. The project in total is comprised of 11 design tasks which enable the conversion of the existing 737 assembly building to the assembly of the newest 737 (named the 737 Max ) airliner without interrupting the current production of airliners at any time during construction.
