3rd and Lenora

KPFF provided civil and structural engineering for the 3rd and Lenora Tower. Developed as a live/work building, the tower is a 31-story, 440-foot-tall structure composed of 150 residential units, 250 parking stalls, and 270,000 SF of office space. The total area of the project is roughly 560,000 SF. A “sky terrace level” is located at the mid-section of the tower with a conference center and a heavily planted, outdoor deck. At the top of the structure, a penthouse or “jewel box” structure provides amenity space for the residential tenants. Due to the mix of residential and office, the building features separate elevator cores, which create a unique dual, shear core system for the building. KPFF provided civil, structural, shoring and construction engineering for the project.
