The Standard at Seattle

KPFF provided structural and civil engineering services for a mixed-use apartment complex consisting of two high-rise towers and a mid-rise building. The Standard at Seattle provides space for 1,402 University of Washington students. The west half of the block includes two 25-story apartment buildings with 7,500 SF of retail space and two levels of below-grade parking. The east half of the block features a 7-story mid-rise building with cross-laminated timber floors and 800 SF of retail space. The east half of the site also included the renovation of a 90-year-old, 16-unit Canterbury Court apartment building.
