Steve Schmitz PE

With 16 years’ experience Steve leads a diverse multi-disciplinary team and is commitment to providing clients an outstanding level of service for their design projects. Steve joined KPFF in 2016 as a Professional Engineer, was named as an Associate in March of 2019 and Principal in 2025. He specializes in project management of site development and municipal infrastructure projects, leading disciplinary groups including civil engineers, surveyors, landscape architects, geotechnical engineers and other site development team members. Steve serves as a mentor to our newer employees, helping them to develop and grow in their careers.
