Background

Inspired at an early age by his contractor father, Rami Selim pursued civil engineering to design infrastructure that connects people and strengthens communities. With 15 years of industry experience, he leads high-impact, large-scale projects and multidisciplinary teams across Northern California, specializing in infrastructure, public works, land development, transportation, and sustainable site design. As an Associate and leader at KPFF, Rami blends technical precision with leadership and collaboration to deliver projects that serve both people and place. He currently serves as ASCE California Governor, is ENR Top Young Professional (2025), and a two-time ASCE award recipient (2021 + 2023). Rami is also passionate about mentorship and community service, actively supporting emerging engineers through his volunteer work.
