Nick Kennedy has been with KPFF since 2013. He has worked as a design engineer and project manager on many types of projects, including high-rise, multi-family residential, medical and embassy work. He enjoys active problem-solving with clients to help them achieve their project goals. Some of his recent work includes the Western Terminal Expansion in the Portland International Airport, the Martin Luther King, Jr. Elementary School in Vancouver, WA, and the 140 Columbia tower in downtown Portland. He has been a speaker at conferences on sustainable construction materials and has guest-lectured at the University of Portland. He enjoys engineering because it provides the chance to actively contribute to improving cities and the well-being of community members.
