Mike joined KPFF in 2003, and since that time he has consistently endeavored to create a collaborative process with architects, allowing their design ideas to come to fruition through innovative structural design. Responsible for structural analysis and design, detailing, production and construction services, Mike always brings a sense of deep investment and enthusiasm to his projects. Mike has worked on a variety of projects including schools, stadiums, office, hospitality and retail. Mike has a number of clients who consider him their “go to” engineer. In 2010, Mike took a lead role in pioneering KPFF’s curtainwall design work which has evolved into a major market sector for our Portland office. Recently, Mike completed work on the curtain wall engineering for the new Transbay Tower in San Francisco.
