  • Hobbies & Interests Matt enjoys spending time outdoors with his friends and family, camping and fishing. Now that his kids are getting older, he is looking forward to sharing that appreciation for the outdoors and some of his favorite hikes with them.

Background

Prior to KPFF, much of Matt's experience has been working for the State of Washington. While his experience varies widely from site development to environmental restoration work, Matt's focus has been primarily on fish passage and transportation. Matt gets a lot of satisfaction out working on projects that improve fish habitat in tangible ways and finishing projects that leave things better than we found them. He enjoys working on teams where people are passionate about restoration. Fish passage is an emerging and evolving field and Matt enjoys the collaboration between designers, biologists, project owners, and regulators that is so critical to making these projects successful.
