Background

Blake is a strong yet personable leader who loves to cultivate lasting relationships with staff, peers, contractors, and clients. As Managing Principal, he makes a conscious effort to mentor staff and encourage young talent. Working first in the construction industry, his engineering career began with KPFF in 1990. Blake has accrued a wealth of knowledge about construction techniques and analytical methods, with an emphasis on seismic design. He’s committed to seismically strengthening and aesthetically enhancing his community’s valuable building inventory. Blake genuinely enjoys team collaboration and brings enthusiasm, energy, and a drive for excellence to every project. He takes care to develop an in-depth understanding of his clients and buildings so that he can offer innovative, cost-conscious systems custom-tailored to each project.
