Wacheno Welcome Center

KPFF provided civil engineering services for this new student services building and 43,000-SF community center remodel. The goal was to create a campus gateway, providing a welcoming orientation and crossroads for students and the community to come together. The new 21,000-SF welcome center provides a variety of student support services including testing, counseling, financial aid, and academic support. A new plaza connects the building with the college transit center and is the natural gathering space for student groups to connect and engage.
