SSM Saint Louis University Medical Center Campus Renewal

Renewal of Saint Louis University Hospital’s campus and facilities for SSM Health.

The project includes extension of the existing campus to the north to accommodate a new world-class teaching hospital. The project was phased, and as various departments moved into the new facility, the existing buildings were re-purposed to support academic and other endeavors.

The hospital features ten floors of space, with an emergency department, diagnostics and testing facilities, imaging, dietary, and support services. An inpatient acute-care facility occupies floors six through nine, with an ambulatory care center on floors three through five.

The project also includes a four-story stand-alone Ambulatory Care Center, two stand-alone parking structures for 962 cars, and a one-story retail storefront along Grand Boulevard.
