Pepperdine University – Student Recreation and Event Center (The Mountain at Mullin Park)

Civil engineering services for the Mountain at Mullin Park project in the heart of the Pepperdine University Malibu campus. The project consists of three phases. Phase one includes a new 49,500-SF seven-story (including two subterranean stories) parking structure with 831 parking stalls, private roadway realignment, and private and public underground utilities realignment with permanent hillside shoring. Phase two includes a new 75,000-SF four-story world-class athletics and event complex (AEC) with a central court, 4,000 surrounding stadium seats, and spaces for locker rooms, sports medicine, video production, meeting/office space, cafeterias, multi-activity court (MAC), a standalone 14,000-SF community fitness and recreation center, elevator tower, and an ocean-view terrace plaza. Phase three includes a contemplative park at the site’s lower level. This project is pursuing LEED Silver Certification.
