Antelope High School Performing Arts

KPFF provided engineering services for the design of a new single story, 500 seat performing art venue at Antelope High School in Antelope, California. This 17,000 square foot center has a 580 seat multifunctional theatre, with full support spaces. This flexible performing arts center is designed to be used by the school, the community and the churches. The parterre theatre seating is retractable, while the orchestra seating is removable on pneumatic platforms which can also extend the stage. Both allow the theatre to convert into a flat floor dance, meeting, dining and party space.
