KPFF is providing structural engineering services for the Nampa Library Square redevelopment. The site was previously occupied by a vacant bank building, a police station, and an under-used public park. All these have been demolished to make way for a 300 stall new parking structure, 3-story office building and single-story retail building with a new 3-story 62,000 sf library serving as the main anchor for the entire block. Each building fronts a new public plaza with fountains, outdoor dining, and grass and other landscape amenities. The Library also has a 3rd floor exterior patio that looks onto the plaza below.
