KPFF provided structural engineering services for the design and construction of a new 70,000-gsf (42,000-asf), four to five-story Center for Environmental Sciences and Economic Development (CESED).  The building houses the Geosciences Department, Civil Engineering Department, and the Environmental Science & Public Policy Research Institute.  These departments have research and teaching laboratories, lab support areas, and office areas.  The construction cost was $28 million.
