    Steve thrives on new technological challenges – he helped institute BIM within KPFF’s Portland office twelve years ago. Since then, Steve has been involved with more than 150 BIM/Revit projects and has led the BIM model for two thirds of them. With more than 20 years of drafting and design experience at KPFF, Steve has excelled as the BIM / CAD Manager for KPFF. Steve is also an Adjunct Professor at the University of Portland, teaching Civil 3D to up-and-coming engineers. He currently teaches courses for the Revit Technical Conference North America and previously taught at Autodesk University. He has been published numerous times in AUGI Magazine. Prior to his drafting and design career, Steve was duel qualified as an Air Intercept Controller and an Anti-Submarine Air Controller in the United States Navy, receiving letters of commendation from the President of the United States for his service. He is an active member of the Columbia River Lions Club.
