    Background

Engaging with other creative minds to determine the best solution for a given problem is one of the things Andrea most enjoys about engineering. With KPFF since 2006, she has led our in-house efforts on a number of large projects with aggressive schedules that required intense collaboration among architects, contractors, other engineering disciplines, and multiple KPFF offices. Andrea is actively involved in educating the design community, and is known for high-end structural analysis and design. She has an aptitude for employing emerging computer software programs with mathematical and engineering principles to achieve new outcomes. She has led the analysis and design of many high-profile projects that span traditional materials of concrete, steel, masonry, and wood, as well as more uncommon materials such as ultra-high performance concrete (UHPC), duplex stainless steel, and structural glass.
