Founded in 2026 by Sonoma County locals, the KPFF Petaluma office brings together a team united by a passion and commitment to serving the communities of the Redwood Empire, North Coast, and beyond. As part of the KPFF Northern California Civil + Survey Reporting Center, which includes teams in San Francisco and Sacramento, we provide innovative civil engineering and surveying services supporting site development and public infrastructure projects of all scales. Civil Engineering
KPFF’s civil engineering team delivers projects across all types of site development, including residential subdivisions, mixed-use and housing developments, parks and recreation facilities, and improvements to city streets, utilities, and pedestrian and bike trails. Our services include site planning, due diligence, master planning, environmental analysis, storm drainage studies, wetlands enhancement, permit coordination, and the design of grading, drainage, storm detention systems, utilities, access roads, parking facilities, and public street improvements. In addition to traditional site development engineering, our civil group serves as a prime consultant to government clients, providing management and design services for transportation, waterfront, site improvement, and major utility projects.
Survey
KPFF’s surveying team provides comprehensive land surveying and mapping services for projects of all sizes throughout Northern California. Our services include construction staking, ALTA land title surveys, boundary and topographic surveys, aerial mapping, condominium plans, vertical airspace maps, parcel and tract maps, legal descriptions, and laser scanning.
