Office Clerk
KPFF Consulting Engineers provides civil and structural engineering services to architects, government agencies, developers, contractors, and institutional clients. Our Los Angeles Structural office is located at the Bloc in Downtown Los Angeles. - This is a non-exempt position. All overtime hours are paid at a time-and-a-half hourly rate.
Requirements
The ideal candidate desires to work with a team, is very organized, flexible with team needs, and has a history of providing excellent service.
- 2 years of full-time Administrative experience with High School Diploma required.
- Must work in our Downtown Los Angeles office 8-5 PM Monday through Friday.
- Must communicate clearly and professionally in all modes of communication.
- Highly competent with the Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint, OneNote).
- Highly competent with PDF management and organization
- Competent with Microsoft Teams 365 and SharePoint
- Competent with office machines and operations
- Competent in proofing and quality control
- Positive attitude and ability to work in a collaborative team environment
- Adapt quickly, identify and resolve problems
- Strong attention to detail and time management
- A passion for continuous improvement
- Experience in entry-level accounting role using an accounting system is a plus
- Experience with BST Global accounting systems is a plus
Responsibilities & Abilities
- The Office Clerk is part of an Administrative team reporting to the Office Manager
- The Office Clerk will perform tasks alongside other members of the Administrative team in order to serve the business needs of the office
- Ensures cleanliness of all office spaces and maintains stock and functionality of office kitchen equipment.
- Coordinate travel needs
- Coordinate food orders for meetings
- Assists the Accounting department with data entry into accounting system, organization of receipts and documentation, and other miscellaneous tasks as needed
- Other miscellaneous Administrative tasks as assigned

Physical Demands and Work Environment
- Duties require in-person attendance, Monday through Friday, during our business hours of 8 AM to 5 PM at our office in Downtown Los Angeles.
- All duties are performed in a typical office environment while sitting at a desk or computer table.
- Duties require the ability to actively engage with a computer for several hours per day.
- May occasionally need to lift items up to 15 lbs.
