Structural BIM Modeler
KPFF is seeking Structural BIM Designers/Modelers of all levels & capabilities in the Southeast region who are ambitious, humble, and strategic, while hungry for trust, autonomy, and support to help grow a practice.

This is one such role: to help lead our BIM Team and support our BIM Modelers and engineers that are currently working on some amazing projects throughout the region. Structural BIM Modeler
This position is key to delivering on the promise and commitment to excellence and plays an important part of each Team within our office. This role requires collaboration with the Engineering Team to understand priorities, drive clarity, and implementation of BIM standards. The ability to mentor and advise other BIM Modelers to help grow their careers and advance their skills is a major plus. The right candidate will have the passion and ability to see structures in three dimensions, know what a great set of drawings should look like, and be comfortable with fielding questions from other Teammates. Those who are patient and driven, can listen and contribute, and can teach and learn, will be the most successful at KPFF.
QUALIFICATIONS
1.Minimum High School Diploma or GED
2.0-10+ Years' experience as a BIM Modeler
3.Valid US Driver’s License
5.Has reliable transportation
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
1.Work closely with the Team Leaders, Engineers, and fellow BIM Modelers to successfully execute projects on time
2.Work with the engineering team to develop and implement BIM standards and practices
3.Ask for help when needed
4.Support projects and serve as a mentor to others
5.Drive projects to completion and communicate if/when a deadline cannot be reached
6.Perform quality checks on drawings before being submitted for Team Leader review
7.Any and all other relevant duties assigned by the Supervisor
REQUIRED SKILLS
1.Basic to Mastery skills of Revit
2.Basic knowledge of how to produce structural engineering drawings
3.Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.)
4.Ability to read, write, and converse fluently in English
SCHEDULE
1.Can work 40 hours per week, within a flexible work schedule, preferably between the hours of 8:00am – 5:00pm, as coordinated with their Team Leader
2.Ability to work beyond scheduled hours on nights and weekends, as necessary, to meet deadlines
PHYSICAL DEMANDS
1.Maintaining the same position for several hours
2.Walking throughout the office or site visits
3.Operate a computer, calculator, and various other essential office tools
4.Kneeling, climbing, crawling, squatting, reaching
5.Lifting and moving up to 50 pounds
