Sr. Civil Transportation Engineer
We are seeking a senior level Civil Transportation Engineer interested in working in an entrepreneurial environment alongside some of the most creative and innovative engineers around. Position Description
§Work on a variety of projects with clients in the public sector
§Lead the development of transportation infrastructure projects including design for city streets, bike and pedestrian facilities, and trails
§Provide design leadership and guidance to staff
§Mentor, train, and contribute to the development of staff
§Coordinate and communicate directly with stakeholders, public agencies, and franchise and public utility companies
§Participate in business development including pursuing projects and writing proposals
Minimum Qualifications
§Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering
§10 yrs of applicable transportation design experience
§Professional Engineer in Oregon or ability to obtain within 6 months
§MicroStation and Inroads and/or AutoCAD and Civil 3D proficiency
§Effective written and verbal communication
§Committed to technical excellence and meeting client needs
§Ability to handle multiple concurrent projects and priorities
Additional Desired Qualifications
§Experience and relationships with transportation agencies in the Portland area, including PBOT, ODOT, and TriMet
§Experience managing small to medium size contracts and task orders
