Engineering-Structural-6-10 Yrs Experience-TX
The KPFF San Diego office is looking to hire a remote, full-time structural engineer that is based in Texas. This person will work closely with our team of engineers in Texas but will be expected to initially work independently from home, and periodically meet in-person and at job sites in Austin. As a valued employee, you will be fully supported by our office, and have the opportunity to work out of a new KPFF Austin office within the year.
Minimum Qualifications:
- BS Degree in Civil Engineering with an emphasis in structures
- 6 years full-time experience in structural engineering
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Creative, proactive, and detail-oriented individual
- Strong understanding of structural engineering mechanics and behaviors
Highly Preferred Qualifications:
- PE licensure
- Master’s degree in Structural Engineering, or Civil/Architectural Engineering with an emphasis in Structures
- Project Management Experience
