Brea, California

The project involved construction of a new two-story, 30,000-sf, classrooms and labs building at the Brea High School campus.  The new building was constructed partially into the existing slope with the second level of the new building at the existing elevation of the ground level of the adjacent building.  The project also included a new 44-space surface parking lot at the ground level of the new building with a new ramp connecting to the existing surface parking lot, 15’ above it.  Civil engineering services included relocation of existing site utilities, grading and drainage design and pavement design.  This project also included design of site retaining walls up to 10’ high.
