    Eric has a particular passion for structural detailing and the coordination of structural elements with other design disciplines. His continued project involvement from schematic design through construction administration ensures that the client’s goals and objectives are met and incorporated into the structural design of his projects. Eric joined the KPFF San Francisco office in 2005 and after a two-year hiatus working in post-earthquake Christchurch, New Zealand, Eric re-joined KPFF in the Portland office. His combined experiences position Eric to bring knowledge of the latest techniques of resilient design to his projects. During his time with KPFF, Eric has been involved in the design and management of many projects including higher education, healthcare, and seismic retrofit projects. Eric has a broad knowledge of all building materials, including mass timber systems where he has remained at the forefront of the emerging industry standards.
