CURRENT OPPORTUNITIES
Entry-Mid Level Structural Engineer
Our Bridge/Waterfront Group is seeking a Structural Engineer to work on bridges and waterfront structures. This position will allow you to: work with a variety of clients in both the public and private sectors; work on all aspects of bridge design from new bridges to bridge rehabilitation/retrofits, including seismic design; develop drawings, cost estimates and specifications for various types of bridges and earth retaining structures; perform studies and write reports; monitor project schedule and budget.

Requirements include: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; 3+ years related experience; strong technical, communication and organizational skills; EIT, PE preferred.
Senior Civil/Structural Engineer
Our Bridge/Waterfront Group is seeking a Civil/Structural Engineer with 5+ years of experience in bridge and seismic design. Recognized as a leader for technical expertise and innovation, we provide bridge design, working either as a prime consultant or in support of the Civil and Structural Engineering Groups. We design waterfront structures for port authorities and industrial clients. Special expertise includes design of floating structures and seismic design and retrofit.

These opportunities will allow you to work on a diverse array of projects in a team environment and let you: manage public and private projects; work on multidiscipline teams, expanding your overall project knowledge base; work on stimulating projects from highway bridges to signature pedestrian bridges; manage and mentor younger engineers; interact with clients. Qualifications: PE required/ SE preferred; Proficient with SAP software and Microsoft Excel/Office Suite.

Civil CAD Technician
We have an opening for a Civil CAD Technician with 3 plus years related experience in Auto CAD and Civil 3D. Projects you could be working are typically utility or site development projects.
Civil Engineer
Our Civil group has an opening for a Design Engineer with 3-5 years of experience for Site Development and Infrastructure projects.

The variety of work which the successful candidate will be involved with will range from large to small site developments, utility infrastructure studies and design, urban infill, and federal design/build projects. Work could include design of detention and water quality facilities, low impact development design, and utility upgrades. Requirements: Bachelor of Science in Civil Engineering; 3-5 years related experience ; Strong technical, communication and organizational skills ; EIT; PE preferred; Authorized to work in the U.S.; Experience in Washington State preferred. Interest in sustainable design is a plus.

Civil Engineers

We are always interested in the possibility of having new, highly talented people join KPFF.  We continually accept resumes for positions from Project Managers to Entry-Level Design Engineers capable of designing Site Development and Transportation projects.  

 

Our civil teams provide design services including site planning, storm drainage water quality and quantity control, grading, utility and infrastructure improvements, roadways, parking facilities, and all other aspects of site development for a wide variety of project types.  We also provide design for major transportation projects including state highways, county and city roads, commuter rail and light rail.  

 

Other services provided by KPFF include master planning, site entitlement, feasibility studies, utility and infrastructure planning and studies.  KPFF is a leader in the area of sustainable design, meeting LEED standards and low impact development goals.
